Freelance and Contact
I started out my art career doing freelance work for a few local theatre companies. I won awards for my set design and construction in college (my undergrad degree is in set design), and continued doing it. Some of my clients have included The Have Nots, Jump Little Children, and the B-52's (I'm not kidding about the last one, I'll post video of them praising my set later). Now that my "unused time" is limited due to sailing, work, and family, I don't do set design unless it's a really cool project. I really enjoy working with meeting designers, and have freelanced with a company called Media Dynamics. They ask me to do things like "build a gigantic t.v. for people to walk through", and stuff like that. They also appreciate my ability to take a project from concept to reality. If you have an interesting concept and need help with it, feel free to contact me.
Need a soundtrack for something? Now we're talking. I'm proficient with Pro Tools, Fruity Loops, Reason, and Kinetic. If you don't know what that means, then I'm good at making music and recording it digitally. I've done sound design for all my films, and have actually played in multiple bands over the years, garnering some airtime on local radio stations. I have portable sound recording equipment and enjoy making art with noise.
You might also need to contact me for other reasons. Please use the email below. I'll answer questions about art/recording/film making if you have them, and will offer technical advice here and there if you need it. If I don't know it, I probably know where you can find it and will guide you there. My advice and thoughts are free. Feel free to take advantage of it. I know some stuff, but I learn something new every day. I have to. The world of art changes constantly, and as a wise man once said "the only thing constant is change".
The B52's Love My Set! - I just got a phone with a video recorder and couldn't help recording it. See Video Below.
